Prerequisites

Ensure that the following prerequisites are met for successful installation of the product.

Hardware requirements for distribution servers:

* May increase depending on the number of software applications and patches deployed.

Ports: List of ports to be opened for seamless agent-server communication

Port Purpose Type Location
443 For communication between the agent or distribution server and the Endpoint Central server. Source: Agent/Distribution server Destination: Endpoint Central server HTTPS Outbound from Agent/DS
443 The notification server port is responsible for communicating on-demand operations from the server to the agent. Source: Agent/Distribution server Destination: Notification server WSS Outbound from Agent/DS
8384 For communication between (remote)agent and distribution server Source: Agent Destination: Distribution Server HTTPS In bound to Distribution Server Out bound from Agent

Supported browsers: Browsers that render the product

Install any of the following browsers on your computer to access the product console:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 and later versions
  • Mozilla Firefox 44 and later versions
  • Google Chrome 47 and later versions

Note: The screen resolution should be 1280 x 1024 pixels or higher.
