It is a well known problem that applications working with relational database are not easily portable across different databases. One of the reasons being the different SQL dialects used by different databases. Most enterprises have to deal with a multiple relational database environment and also have migration projects going on to migrate some legacy application from one database to another. In such a situation the problems of dealing with multiple SQL dialects is so acute to even warrant books on the topic "Differences in SQL Dialects". But there is no software tool to help DBAs and developers become more productive while working with multiple databases.

SwisSQL Console is the first ever tool to address the SQL dialect problem, that too using an innovative approach. Using a multi-dialect SQL parser and a SQL conversion engine, SwisSQL Console can understand any database's SQL dialect and convert it to any other database's SQL dialect.

Most database vendors provide migration tools to help users migrate their application to the vendor's database. But all the migration tools focus on schema migration, data migration, view migration etc. But when it comes to migrating SQL queries embeded inside an application, the database migration tools do not help.
