This distribution of SwisSQL Console contains the following directories. A brief description of the contents of each of the directories is given below. For a full description of functionality of SwisSQL Console including the release notes, please look at the complete help documentation.

The following directories are present in this distribution

  1. SwisSQL Home: This is the home directory of the SwisSQL Console distribution. This directory contains this README.html file, license, and copyright files.
  2. bin: This directory contains the script and batch files to run the SwisSQL Console GUI application. The "setenv.sh" or "setenv.bat" file in this directory is the script from which all the environment variables required for running the SwisSQL Console application are set. You need to edit this file to give the JAVA_HOME (if you have not set the Java Runtime during installation) and also paths to JDBC drivers if you need to execute the converted SQL from within the SwisSQL Console. Note that JDBC drivers could even be set from within the Console GUI and is not mandatory to be done from "setenv.sh/setenv.bat" file.
  3. conf: This directory contains the configuration files for the SwisSQL Console GUI application.
  4. help: The complete help documentation
  5. lib: This directory contains the SwisSQL Console jar files.
  6. log: This directory contains SwisSQL Console Error and Output log files.
  7. test: This directory contains example SQL files with various SQL statements for testing the functionality of SwisSQL Console.

This release has been tested with Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version 1.6.0_14.
